The Workshops
Seeing a Bigger Gospel
An Invitation
Are you a cross-culturally engaged Christian who desires to explore a bigger gospel?
Locally or globally — there is more of the gospel to see.

Why It Matters
A non-western view of the good news
With thirty years of experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages, and having worked in mega-church mission programs, Julie understands the value in presenting the good news of Jesus Christ from a non-western view.
However, many solid believers from the west fail to value different perspectives and how the Bible already fully addresses all primary cultural perspectives. The following workshop seeks to explore these issues.
The Workshop
Seeing a Bigger Gospel
Julie gives a four-part workshop on three primary cultural perspectives: fear/power, shame/honor, guilt/innocence. The workshop is delivered in-person by Julie in a retreat format (Fri evening and all day Saturday) to equip global short term mission teams and staff to effectively serve cross-culturally sharing a “bigger” gospel. Each interactive workshop interfaces Biblical insight with culturally relevant application challenging the participants to see God in new multifaceted ways, the Scripture in an expanded relevance, and to affirm Jesus as all-sufficient for all cultures.
